About Me

Hey, I’m Behrad Saraiyeh — I work in tech, mostly SRE, DevOps and Backend development.

I started my journey when I was 10, playing around with robotics — first mechanics and electronics, and then learning C and simple algorithm-focused languages to make my robots work. I got really good at it and ended up competing in international competitions — winning a Gold Medal at RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2018 in Thailand and becoming a member of Iran’s National Elites Foundation. At a pretty young age I also started teaching robotics to kids (7–18 years old) and later mentored teams in competitions.

In 2023, I started studying Applied Mathematics at KNTU because I love math. While studying, I got into software development and taught myself React and Django. I also completed a backend internship that gave me real hands-on experience.

While working on backend systems, I discovered how much I enjoyed DevOps — improving how systems actually run. I joined Gareno Pargas, where I owned the infrastructure end‑to‑end, from developer tooling to production systems, and focused on making things faster, more reliable, and easier to operate.

Since that’s what I enjoyed most, I switched my major to Computer Engineering at IAU to better align with my work. After a solid run at Gareno Pargas, I joined SnappPay — the Fintech arm of Snapp Group — where I now work as an SRE, helping keep systems reliable and scalable for millions of users.

I’m always trying to improve, get better at what I do, and chase bigger goals — both for myself and the systems I build.
